Gentis Solutions is looking for a Dynamics Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 105k/year - 115k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Cheswick, PA area.
Requirements

U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD compliance)

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances and approvals

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Advanced degree with a focus in Dynamics or Acoustics
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural dynamics or shock analysis
-
Proven experience with structural dynamic design and analysis of electro-mechanical systems

Ability to plan and lead dynamic, acoustic, and shock testing activities

Strong skills in interpreting and reconciling simulation vs. real-world test results

Experience composing technical documentation: design reports, test reports, technical letters, etc.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers

Proficiency in mechanical simulation tools and test equipment for vibration/shock/acoustics

Understanding of project planning, cost estimation, and schedule management Nice to Have

Experience in failure investigations and customer-facing technical support

Familiarity with rotating equipment components and systems

Involvement in design and build of test rigs or new equipment

Record of publishing technical papers or contributing to patents

Experience contributing to technical design reviews and proposal responses

Ability to interpret technical specifications and product testing standards

Exposure to machinery dynamics in defense or high-consequence manufacturing sectors
