About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Dynamics Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 105k/year - 115k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Cheswick, PA area.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD compliance)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances and approvals

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

  • Advanced degree with a focus in Dynamics or Acoustics

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural dynamics or shock analysis

  • Proven experience with structural dynamic design and analysis of electro-mechanical systems

  • Ability to plan and lead dynamic, acoustic, and shock testing activities

  • Strong skills in interpreting and reconciling simulation vs. real-world test results

  • Experience composing technical documentation: design reports, test reports, technical letters, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers

  • Proficiency in mechanical simulation tools and test equipment for vibration/shock/acoustics

  • Understanding of project planning, cost estimation, and schedule management Nice to Have

  • Experience in failure investigations and customer-facing technical support

  • Familiarity with rotating equipment components and systems

  • Involvement in design and build of test rigs or new equipment

  • Record of publishing technical papers or contributing to patents

  • Experience contributing to technical design reviews and proposal responses

  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and product testing standards

  • Exposure to machinery dynamics in defense or high-consequence manufacturing sectors
