About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Data Center Commissioning Owners Representative to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 104k/year - 114k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Umatilla, OR area.
Must Have
- 5+ years of engineering, installation, startup, or commissioning experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or controls systems used in critical infrastructure environments
- Data center commissioning experience, including functional testing and integrated systems testing
- Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, equipment submittals, sequences of operations, and commissioning documentation
- Experience reviewing or executing commissioning test plans, scripts, and reports while coordinating onsite vendors or contractors
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant discipline experience
Plusses
- Experience developing and executing electrical or mechanical test procedures
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for critical infrastructure
- Ability to read and edit construction drawings, control diagrams, and specifications
- SharePoint or similar platform experience
- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
