About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a CAD Administrator to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 70k/year - 100k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Wilmington, OH area.

Ensure Global CAD/CAM/CAE Systems are continually pushing the state of the art and performing well. Implement improvements that result in increased system stability, heightened user efficiency, and improved global product development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain, support, and improve SolidWorks CAD, PDMWorks Enterprise, Cosmos CAE, and CAMWorks installations and ensure they all work well as a seamless system.
  • Evaluate, select, propose and implement CAD/CAM Network hardware and software as new requirements dictate.
  • Maintain and support all CAD/CAM user hardware, software, printing, and networking needs in the Engineering, R&D, and CNC programming groups.
  • Coordinate and administer maintenance contracts with outside vendors related to the CAD/CAM systems.
  • Administer the security and file structure on the CAD/CAM systems for efficient access of data and services by the Engineering and R&D Groups.
  • Attend seminars, keep abreast of industry trends through review of technical papers, journals, internet blogs, etc.
  • Become proficient in SolidWorks design software.
  • Provide support for archival and CAD drawings.
  • Provide potential backup role as a CAD operator.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or technical school (preferably engineering); and a minimum of three years’ related experience.
  • And/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
