Gentis Solutions is looking for a BIM Modeler to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 62k/year - 83k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Sterling, area.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Computerized Drafting or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 5+ years of experience with electrical drafting, symbols, and conventions
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, including:
- Creating and manipulating families, views, schedules, filters, sheets
- Creating Revit work sets and understanding of work sharing
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows and processes
- Ability to read and interpret 2D plans (digital and print)
- Fluent in Autodesk Navisworks and Design Review
- Strong 3D layout and design skills
- Experience creating project-specific families and managing Revit models
- Proven ability to lead model teams, assign tasks, manage project schedules, and ensure deliverables
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Self-motivated and proactive team player
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Nice to Have

Experience with Oracle software

Knowledge of importing external files (e.g., spreadsheets, photos, Word docs) into Revit projects

Experience using plotters, printers, and reproduction systems

Ability to proofread and check work independently

Prior experience with 3D coordination across trades

Skills in creating parametric families, shared parameters, and complex geometry in Revit

Experience in setting up Revit models and leading teams through project execution

Familiarity with posting and transmitting documents via web or file-sharing platforms

Understanding of confidentiality and intellectual property protection protocols
