About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Analytical Technician to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 37k/year - 37k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Kennesaw, GA area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience
  • Experience working in a microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or chemistry lab
  • Ability to follow SOPs, batch records, and controlled documents
  • Experience performing common lab techniques (pipetting, weighing, unit conversions, serial dilutions)
  • Experience with bacterial plating and bacterial counting
  • Experience preparing media and reagents
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and cleanliness standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize work, manage time, and meet weekly workloads
  • Ability to work well with a team and communicate clearly
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel locally between sites

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Quality Control principles and cGMP regulations
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience analyzing scientific data using basic statistical methods
  • Hands-on experience with techniques such as:
  • PCR or Real-Time PCR
  • ELISA
  • Enzymatic assays
  • Protein or peptide assays
  • SDS-PAGE
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for lab procedures
  • Experience contributing to research or publishable scientific work
